- What is SIM only?
With SIM only plans you provide the phone, we provide the network. That means you get all the good bits from being an EE customer but pay less than you would for a standard plan. Plus our super SIMs are super flexible; you can sign up for 30 days or 12 months.
- What do I need to switch to an EE SIM only plan?
All you need is your phone or tablet – we’ll do the rest. Our superfast SIM are designed to fit any device, just pop out the size to fit yours.
- How do I keep my existing number?
It’s really straightforward. If you’re an existing EE, Orange or T-Mobile customer, just pop your new SIM into your phone.
If you’re new to EE, just follow the three simple steps below:
1) Order your new SIM Pack from EE
2) Request a PAC code from your existing network provider
3) Once you have received and activated your new EE SIM, go to https://explore.ee.co.uk/porting and add your PAC details
If you submit the form before 17.30 on a working day your number will be transferred the next working day; if submitted after 17.30 or at the weekend it will take two working days to transfer.
Please be aware number transfers are not processed on Bank Holidays.

- Am I able to upgrade my handset?
If you’re on a pay monthly SIM plan, you can upgrade to a handset plan after three months. And after six months on a 12-month SIM only plan, we’ll give you £20 towards the cost of your new handset.
Just call 150 or go into your local EE store to discuss.
- How long will it take for my SIM to arrive?
Once you’ve placed your order we’ll deliver your SIM directly to you by second class mail.
50% off pay monthly: If you sign up to a 12 month SIM only Extra plan on EE from 10 February 2016 to 22 March 2016 you will be eligible for a 50% discount off the monthly cost of your SIM only Extra plan for the first three months.
How it works:
The three month 50% discount will be applied automatically to your monthly recurring charge when you sign up. For eligible customers, the 10% multi line discount will be applied in addition to the 50% discount. No other discounts, including but not limited to ‘Perk’ and ‘Friends and Family’ discounts, may be used in conjunction with this offer.
After 3 months your monthly recurring charge will revert back to the standard amount. Eligible customers will still keep their 10% multi line savings discount subject to the Multi Plan Savings Terms (see ee.co.uk/terms for details).
