It’s not every day you launch a new network, but on Thursday 30th May we did just that – becoming the first network to switch on 5G in the UK.
Of course, such a momentous occasion deserved a fitting celebration, so we put together something extra special.
On Wednesday evening, platinum-selling UK artist and Glastonbury headliner, Stormzy, lit up London with an incredible performance live from the River Thames, set against the stunning backdrop of Tower Bridge.
It was also the first event of its kind to ever be streamed over our new 5G network, so fans could livestream all the action from anywhere in the world.
